Ryan Carver, B.S., CSCS, FAS
Ryan graduated from the University of Utah in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Nutrition. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Ryan is also a certified Functional Aging Specialist with the Functional Aging Institute. He’s been featured in publications such as Personal Training Quarterly and Personal Fitness Professional (PFP) and sought after presenter.
Ryan has been coaching clients in their quest for creating a healthy lifestyle and transforming lives whether that means weight loss, improved sport performance, diabetes management, or better movement for a happier life since 2006.
Kornelia Znak, CPT
Kornelia graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art in 2010. She moved to Utah in 2019 and has been with LFS for 6 months. She loves hiking, paragliding, and playing with her dog, Zenny.
She is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and is a certified nutrition coach through Precision Nutrition.
Tony Aleccia BS, CPT
Tony graduated from BYU-Idaho in 2019 in Exercise Physiology. Tony is dedicated to empowering you to get what you want out of life again. He puts the ‘personal’ in personal training by making sure you are getting the most out of each and every one of your sessions.
Mike Guastella, BS, CSCS
Mike is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. Mike is a fitness professional who prefers to guide, rather than dictate. He believes certifications and education are important but only as important as they are applicable to you. With a sense of humor, a passion for growth, and a minor penchant for self deprecation, Mike believes the best results come from listening to your goals and desires. Over his 10 years of experience, he has worked in a multitude of settings with hundreds of clients, creating a culture of empowerment, no matter the goal.

There is a story/anecdote that with enough levers you can move anything. We believe this! With enough leverage you can find the the fitness solutions. Out of this concept Leverage Fitness Solutions was born. The reason we chose the name was because of its definition and associated implications. In order to reach your full potential, in transforming lives, you must exert force. You’ve got to put in enough effort to move the object. In turn, we will be the lever to help you act effectively and to the maximum advantage. We will leverage our knowledge, network, experience and our resources to move heaven and earth to help you. However, no lever will operate without the necessary and adequate force applied to it.
We love the concept of leverage in regards to the human body. By lengthening or shortening different body segments you can make an exercise harder or easier. A friend frequently said, “The world is my gym”. It’s true. While we love the gym and all the tools it provides us in transforming our clients’ lives, you don’t necessarily need a gym. You need gravity and leverage to challenge yourself. We want to help you use what resources, talents and abilities that you already have and leverage that to create a healthy lifestyle.

Meet Jeanine. Jeanine first came to the gym in a wheelchair because she lacked the strength to stand for more than a few moments. Over the course of a couple years working with Jeanine she went from being in a wheelchair, to walking with a walker, to walking with a cane. From using a cane to preferring to take an arm while walking when she wasn’t pulling a 65 lbs weight sled. If this doesn’t illustrate the transforming benefit of exercise, we don’t know what does.
