  • We believe that one-size-fits-exactly-one when it comes to exercise. We'll always have a plan prepared specifically for you, and adjust it depending on your needs that day.

  • You'll be surrounded by your peers, listening to the music YOU like, not the staff's top 40 list.

  • You won't find any wildly inappropriate spandex or peacocking around from 20- something-year-olds young enough to be your granddaughter.

  • We strive to put the fun back into fitness. Just because it's hard work, doesn't mean you can't enjoy your time.

  • We're married to results, not a specific piece of equipment like other classes that only use kettlebells, or TRX. We'll use whatever tool will help you best!

  • We're a community who cares. Everyone here (clients included) want to see you succeed and cheer you on. You'll create new, genuine friendships. Maybe find a new pickleball partner, who knows?!

Meet The Personal Training Team

Ryan Carver:

Founder, Head Coach, Author

Ryan is the founder of Leverage Fitness Solutions. He’s a graduate from the University of Utah in Exercise Science. He’s done many specialization courses in addition to his training certifications in functional & active aging, brain health for cognitive decline, arthritis, osteoporosis, and functional neurology.

He’s been coaching for 19 years. He’s published several peer-reviewed articles and is the author of The Longevity Lifestyle.

He was a finalist for International Personal Trainer of the Year in 2020, and won the National Fitness Professional of the Year in 2023.

As an athlete, he’s won 3 different colored medals, in 3 different sports, across 3 decades.

Bronwyn Payne:

Personal Trainer

Bronwyn has a bachelor's degree in exercise science from BYU Hawaii. She is a competitive powerlifter and holds state records in her home state of Wyoming. When not at Leverage, she enjoys playing in intramural softball and volleyball leagues.

Kornelia Znak:

Head Coach/GM

Kornelia is our General Manager and Head Coach. She’s been with Leverage for 4 years. In a previous career, she was an architect. Now she’s a world-class trainer. She’s done specialization work in functional aging, osteoporosis, and menopause. Kornelia loves gardening, alpinism, split boarding, and skydiving.

Austin Seeley:

Personal Trainer

Austin is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is an Orthopedic Fitness Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Joint Replacement Specialist.

Austin's mission is to bring humor and positivity to exercise so everyone can enjoy the benefits of physical fitness and feel younger and stronger again.

Jake Broome:

Personal Trainer


Jake got his Associate's degree in Exercise Science from Salt Lake Community College, where he also completed the Functional Movement Systems level 1 certification. Shortly thereafter, he earned his NASM Personal Training certification and has loved getting to help people feel and move well ever since.

Jake was drawn into fitness through his past of competing in powerlifting, passion for athletics, and love for helping and teaching others.When outside of the gym he enjoys playing pickup basketball, hiking with his dog, and spending time with family..

Sam Pierce:

Personal Trainer

Sam has been a recipient of personal training since he was in middle school. He went to college in Northern Virginia and Graduated from Marymount University with a degree in Exercise Science.

Sam loves working with athletes of all ages and abilities. When he's not fawning over his dogs, he's enjoying traveling around the world and experiencing new cultures.
