About our Semi-Private Training Classes

First, think about any fitness class you’ve ever been to. Now, throw that out the window because our classes are unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before.

Our semi-private training is the Rolls Royce of fitness classes.

Our fitness ‘classes’ are so small we call them semi-private training because there will only be a maximum of 3 clients to 1 coach. This ensures you get a lot of attention, so you can’t hide in the crowd. This also minimizes your risk of injury from doing something incorrectly. You’ll be hard-pressed to find another facility in Salt Lake City or Salt Lake County with this exclusivity in their classes.

We offer classes at almost every hour we’re open, just not every day, so there are plenty of opportunities to choose from to get your semi-private training sessions in.

And as always, each client has a unique exercise prescription, not just following what everyone in a big group is doing. You deserve better than that.

Most clients start out doing private personal training, and as they gain experience and improve their fitness capacity, they move into the semi-private class. This is because while we keep a close eye on you, you will need to be a little more autonomous and take ownership of how you move.

We usually recommend semi-private training is a good option if you score higher than a 10 in your initial assessment or if you have a proven record of prior exercise, specifically strength training (lifting weights).

The Leverage Fitness Solutions Approach

At Leverage Fitness Solutions we strive to improve the approach to fitness that you typically will find elsewhere.

We believe that you are completely unique, with a unique medical and injury history, needs and wants, and fitness abilities. So instead of giving you a cookie-cutter program or a class where everyone does that same thing, each client has a unique exercise prescription because one size fits exactly one!

We don’t lock you into any long-term contracts, everything is month-to-month.

We want you to have the best, so all our coaches take turns training you. Each week we meet as a staff to review your progress and needs. This way we open up more availability to meet your schedule needs and you have a brain trust working for you-not just one expert.

We aren’t married to any specific exercise or tool. We’ll use any tool or exercise that works for you to help you reach your fitness goals. We want to match the exercise to you, not the other way around.

We’d love you to see for yourself the Leverage Fitness Difference by coming in for a complimentary consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

No! Because each client has a unique prescription and unique membership you can jump into any class with an opening.

Nope. This often happens that someone will need to reschedule or cancel their spot.

You still pay the same class rate regardless if it’s just you or a full 3 client class.

The fitness level or intensity is based on each client. It doesn’t matter who is in the class, because we work to ensure each client is working at the intensity they need to be for their goals and abilities.

Being wait-listed means that the class is currently full and unable to take anyone else.

However, if you join the waitlist and another client needs to cancel or drop out of that class, you will be notified that you are no longer waitlisted but are now in that class.

Our classes are 50-55 mins long.

We’ve found that half-hour sessions aren’t long enough to cover everything you need.

To ensure your safety we request coming in for a consultation so we can get an idea of what you’ll need and how to keep you safe.

You don’t need a membership. We offer a drop-in rate if you don’t have a membership, which is usually 6% higher than the membership rate.
